THE OPPORTUNITY

Bridges Health & Community Care Ltd is proud to deliver the new Regional Reset program, part of the Queensland Government's Making Queensland Safe plan funded by the Qld Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support. The Regional Reset Program is a trauma-informed, culturally grounded initiative funded by the Qld Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support under the Making Qld Safer Plan.

The program is designed to stabilise young people, reconnect them with family and culture, and support positive pathways back into the community.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Team Leader – People & Culture plays a pivotal role in supporting the success of the Regional Reset program by providing direct supervision, mentoring, and operational support to program staff. This role ensures a safe, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed service environment that empowers young people to reintegrate into their communities and reduce re-offending.

POSITION SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and support to Regional Reset team members.
* Develop and manage staff rosters to ensure consistent and reliable service delivery.
* Foster a positive team culture grounded in trauma-informed and culturally safe practices.
* Support staff wellbeing and professional development through reflective practice and coaching.
* Assist the Program Lead with operational planning and implementation of service delivery.
* Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new team members.
* Ensure staff compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and training requirements.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions and performance reviews.
* Travel regionally as required to support outreach service delivery and staff across locations.
* Promote client voice and feedback in service design and delivery.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting and quality assurance processes

Key Accountabilities:

The key role of Team Leader Group Programs is to ensure BHCC meet their contractual obligations and maintain the integrity and fidelity of the RR program. The Team Leader is responsible for assisting with the effective and efficient implementation, monitoring, and review of the Regional Reset program.

Other Responsibilities:

* Implementation and delivery of a safe, reliable service for young people, families and RR staff through a comprehensive risk management framework.
* Attend regular meetings with management and key stakeholders with up-to-date accurate information and advice in a spirit of cooperation and shared goals.
* Establish and action robust communication and reporting structures with management, funders, stakeholders including traditional owners and families.
* Review data and report to ensure accuracy, quality, competency, and efficiency of all staff in the RR program.

* High level of integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence.

Selection Criteria:

* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or leadership role within community services.
* Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
* Experience working with young people, particularly those involved or at risk of enterering the justice system.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and inspire teams.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities and maintain service quality.
* Commitment to reflective practice, continuous improvement, and staff development.
* Willingness to travel regionally and work flexibly to meet program needs.
* Must comply with the Child Safe Organisations Act (commenced 1st October 2025) and be familiar with the 10 Child Safe Standards which aim to create environments that prioritise the safety and wellbeing of children.

Role Requirements:

To currently hold, obtain or have an ability to obtain, and review prior to employment commencement:

* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)
* National Criminal History Check
* Current Queensland Open Drivers Licence
* Current right to Work in Australia
