Working across our Central Adelaide region, this role will see you leading a small team of safety professionals and partnering with our operational teams to identify, develop, and implement safety initiatives and compliance activities that uplift BU safety capability, capacity and performance.
**About you**:You are an experienced leader with a history in operational safety management. Influential at all levels, you can have courageous conversations with frontline leaders, whilst being a trusted peer to the Senior Leadership team. You have proven success in working across a broad stakeholder group to translate enterprise strategies into business initiative that deliver results.
- An expert on BU safety effectiveness that provides counsel and coaching to the BU leadership teams to uplift safety capability.
- Identify key business challenges / opportunities and collaborate with key corporate partners to design and deliver enterprise solutions.
- Monitor and review the effectiveness of safety policies, programs and processes using agreed measures and provide feedback for improvements to policy/process owners.
- You are flexible with how you work and understand that some travel will be required
