Integrated with Interventional & Diagnostic Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery Strong collaboration with Emergency, Cath Lab, and ICU teams Supported by a Clinical Nurse Educator in a rich learning environment Your Role As a Registered Nurse (Grade 2) in our Acute Cardiac Unit, you will: Independently and collaboratively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care Uphold patient and family privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Deliver care aligned with Cabrini’s mission, values, and goals Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop tailored care plans Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular assessment, including ECG interpretation and telemetry monitoring Recognise and respond to changes in patient condition, making timely clinical decisions Implement evidence-based interventions and evaluate patient outcomes Provide emotional support and education to patients and families Communicate effectively within multidisciplinary teams Engage in continuous learning and quality improvement initiatives What we're looking for: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute cardiac nursing (preferred) Postgraduate Certificate in Cardiac Nursing highly regarded Strong clinical judgment and commitment to quality care Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centred service skills Alignment with Cabrini’s Mission, Values, and faith-based ethos If you are a dedicated cardiac nurse seeking a rewarding role in a supportive environment with excellent career development, we’d love to hear from you.
