**Role Summary**

Our model of care focuses on putting clients at the centre of what we do to create positive change in their lives. We work with families, communities and other organisations to deliver trauma informed, equitable, culturally safe and integrated services based on evidence and practice wisdom.
We are looking for someone with lived experience of treatment and recovery from substance use to help residents in the AOD withdrawal program by sharing their story. As an AOD Peer Worker, you will be supported by a skilled, multidiscipline team that provide a full suite of AOD treatments.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Lived alcohol and drug experience
* A minimum of 2 years successfully engaged in work, volunteering or study after graduating from an AOD residential program
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to maintain clear boundaries and engage in self-reflection
