We're now looking for an experienced **Grocery Manager**to join our friendly and committed team. If you're passionate about great food, outstanding customer service, and leading by example, we'd love to hear from you.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
As the Grocery Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the grocery department, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting a team with training and day-to-day guidance
- Managing stock levels and inventory accuracy
- Handling orders, receiving deliveries, and maintaining stock rotation
- Ensuring high standards in product presentation, merchandising, and cleanliness
- Handling customer queries and complaints professionally
- Conducting regular quality control and date checks on grocery products
- Managing rosters and scheduling in line with store templates
- Executing opening and closing procedures as required
- Supporting the floor team to fill gaps and maintain an organised store
- Upholding and enforcing company policies and procedures
- Collaborating with upper management on operational improvements
**What We're Looking For**:
We're seeking someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads with integrity. You will have:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- A hands-on, proactive attitude with the ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work across different shifts, including weekends
- Familiarity with grocery ordering systems (or willingness to learn)
