Join Our Team in Cancer Services! We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented administrative professional to support our Cancer Services Department. This role involves managing patient records, reception and correspondence duties including scheduling appointments and telephone inquiries, liaising with healthcare staff, and contributing to safety and quality initiatives. The Role 
In accordance with established policies, guidelines and procedures, the Administrative Assistant provides a high level of reception, administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the Cancer Services Department at the Royal Hobart Hospital. 
You will need 
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in contemporary office administration practices, systems and software including word processing, spreadsheets and data entry. 
- Demonstrated ability to operate computerised health information systems. 
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality whilst working within a client focused health care environment.

Details of appointment 
Fixed term, casual position, working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible for 12 months. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. 
Salary 
General Stream, Band 2 — $66,049 to $70,993 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. 
Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
