We are seeking a Work Health and Safety Business Partner to collaborate with our committed team, drive safe outcomes, and support a positive safety culture across our organisation.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a key member of the Work Health and Safety team, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing and continuously improving WHS systems, policies and procedures to support a safe, compliant and proactive organisational culture. This role works closely with internal stakeholders at all levels and contributes to strong operational and cultural outcomes across St John NT.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing professional WHS advice, support and coaching to managers and staff to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
* Coordinating incident, hazard and injury reporting processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely follow-up.
* Supporting and facilitating WHS induction, education and training programs to build capability, enhance safety awareness and encourage a values-based safety culture.
* Assisting in the development and maintenance of WHS documentation, including standards, safe operating procedures, audit schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to improved safety outcomes and reduction of incidents and injuries.
