Overview
Valvoline Global Operations is recruiting a Human Resources Officer to support the full range of HR functions, ensuring smooth management of employee life cycle processes from onboarding through offboarding. The role maintains accurate records, handles HR documentation, and ensures compliance with internal policies and employment legislation. The HR Officer serves as the first point of contact for employees, managers, and external stakeholders, providing timely responses to HR-related queries and escalating complex matters as appropriate. The role contributes to the efficient delivery of HR operations by supporting policy and program implementation, reporting, and coordinating HR-related projects with the global and local HR function.

Responsibilities
- Administration: Coordinate onboarding, deliver HR induction, maintain organizational charts, manage HR communication platforms, coordinate offboarding and exit interviews, assist with recruitment and payroll processing, maintain HR work instructions and templates, and support monthly/ad hoc reporting.
- HR Compliance: Maintain personnel files, track employment milestones, prepare HR correspondence, maintain HRIS records, assist in policy management.
- Employee/Industrial Relations: Apply and interpret HR policies, assist with Enterprise Agreement bargaining and performance management processes, and support fitness-for-work matters.
- Reward & Recognition: Manage local reward and service award programs.
- Other: Lead DEI initiatives, coordinate HR events, support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and assist with HR projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years HR administrative experience (full scope).
- General awareness and understanding of employment legislation.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel
- Office-based role.
- 1 day per week travel to Wetherill Park Plant.
