As a Graduate Civil Engineer in Community Development, you will:
* Deliver project design/drafting for various projects including road and drainage design for civil and urban development projects, stormwater design to WSUD standards, sewer reticulation, water and recycled water supply design and pump station design
* Ensure all designs are checked and approved by Registered Engineer and Project Manager prior to forwarding to the relevant authorities
* Liaise with authorities as required, to ensure authority approvals are gained efficiently and timely
* Undertake site inspections for projects as required and directed, to ensure site conditions are considered in the design process
* Attend meetings with local authorities and stakeholders as required and directed
* Develop and maintain knowledge and competence in the use of civil engineering standards, 12 D Design Software including drainage design, as well as Auto CAD drafting software
* Promote and provide a safe working environment for all team members
* Ensure professional standards are maintained and company objectives in relation to service quality, reputation, OH&S and environmental standards are met
Job Requirements
Requirements include:
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering recognised by Engineers Australia as eligible for membership as a professional engineer
* Passion for learning and problem-solving
* Eligible to work in Australia
* Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
