The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) is seeking a CRM System Administrator to provide a critical role within Technology Solutions and Data Security. About the Business Unit The Department of Justice and Community Safety (the department) delivers a justice and community safety system that works to build a safer, fairer and stronger Victoria. Technology Solutions and Data Security focuses on meeting the department's data and digital needs by providing responsive and sustainable services focused on supporting departmental outcomes. Technology Solutions and Data Security explores and employs technology to enable the department's business function via the use of modern, appropriate platforms, products and services. It supports enterprise-wide platforms and services including critical applications, networks, telecommunication, call centres, hosting, intranet/internet sites; delivers business and corporate funded project; and oversees the delivering of services provided by technology service providers such as Cenitex. About the Role Technology Solutions and Data Security has established a Salesforce Centre of Excellence (CoE) to provide ongoing support to Salesforce applications and ensure platform integrity and security. The CRM System Administrator role will primarily be supporting enhancements to existing products and assisting with scoping new solutions, however there will be the opportunity to leverage the incumbent's industry expertise and knowledge to shape the CoE. The purpose of the CRM System Administrator is to: Provide technical, consulting and development support of a new Salesforce case management system. Manage and optimise the application by configuring and customising the platform as well providing support, knowledge sharing and user training. Maintain Salesforce applications by provisioning user access, business as usual bug fixes and minor enhancements. About you To be successful in this role, you will have: 4 years of relevant Salesforce Administrator experience. Demonstrated experience within a large ICT environment, of Software Development practice, leading to successful ICT improvement or transformation creating realised business value. Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and OmniStudio, ideally with Public Sector Solutions (PSS). Experience in flows, basic Apex, validation rules, system automation, sharing & security settings, permissions management, formula fields etc. Lightning & LWC experience would be highly regarded. Experience working on Salesforce interfaces (Lightning and Classic), Apex, integrating third-party apps and Salesforce connectors (as required). Experience as a developer, including using Object oriented programming practices, web technologies and REST APIs. Experience in data management and modelling and being able to manipulate large sets of data (MS Excel/JSON) with particular attention to accuracy and hygiene. Deep understanding of SDLC principles and the software development lifecycle, including Agile and DevOps release management practices and methodologies. Experience deploying to environments using change sets and GitLab. Experience working with Atlassian DevOps toolset (Jira, Confluence) and VS Code to manage applications/ product lifecycle. Qualifications/requirements Salesforce Administrator Certification is essential. Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce OmniStudio Consultant or OmniStudio Developer Certifications are highly desirable. Relevant tertiary or post graduate qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology would be highly regarded.
