We are seeking an experienced banking Program Coordinator to support a large-scale Big 4 Banking Divestment Project within a major banking environment. This initiative involves the separation of systems, applications, and data assets across multiple business units to meet regulatory, compliance, and strategic objectives. The Program Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Program Director with all administration of a key program of work ensuring effective coordination across project streams, accurate tracking of deliverables, and maintaining alignment between business, technology, and governance stakeholders. You must have program coordination experience in a banking divestment or acquisition within a big 4 bank or similar. You must be able to start in a week ideally, we would accept 2 weeks if needed This is a 6-12 month program of works working 3 days in the office and two days from home You need to be organised resilient and exceptional communicator and be able to see tasks through to the end. You will be self starter and early morning riser to fit the current culture and environment Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and support day-to-day program activities across multiple technical and business workstreams supporting all administrative requirements and messaging to the team Maintain detailed project schedules, RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and reporting dashboards. Facilitate communication between project managers, data architects, security, and infrastructure teams as directed by the Program Director Prepare and distribute program status reports, steering committee packs, and milestone updates and sit in all project update meetings recording minutes and action items Assist in managing program governance processes, including documentation, change control, and stakeholder approvals. Support project financial tracking, resourcing plans, and vendor management activities. Ensure all workstream deliverables align with program objectives, regulatory timelines, and compliance standards. Coordinate cross-functional testing, data migration, and cutover readiness activities. Drive consistency in project documentation, templates, and communication standards. Identify and escalate risks or issues impacting timelines or dependencies. Key Skills and Experience: 5 years' experience in program or project coordination within large, complex banking divestments or acquisitions. Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and business teams. Highly proficient in MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint ; experience with Jira or ServiceNow advantageous. Strong attention to detail with proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of data management, data governance, and security principles desirable.
