About the role:
We have a great prospect for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse with experience in PACU / Recovery to join our clinical team on a casual basis.
Monday to Friday flexible roster occasional Saturdays.
Duties and responsibilities:
Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare.
You will have:
Solid experience in PACU/ Recovery nursing in a hospital setting
Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
Current AHPRA registration
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
