To deliver all this and more, we're looking for a Part Time Chef de Partie who'll support all kitchen activities and prepare our delicious food - helping create memorable experiences for guests - whenever and wherever they dine.
You'll ensure quality, kitchen maintenance, and inventory functions are kept to our high standards - to make sure your kitchen is always running smoothly.Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebudsTaking ownership for your workstation - keeping on top of supplies, equipment and waste.
You'll lead the kitchen team, and ensure seamless coordination with other departmentsDeveloping your team and improving their performance through coaching and feedback - recognising good performanceYour role includes developing new menu items, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.Managing stock control, cost efficiency, and adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.Guaranteed 24 hours minimum per week.What We need from you:Similar experience in a commercial kitchen ideally in a Hotel environmentMust hold a current Safe Food Handling CertificationGreat communication - you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk toRight to legally work full time in AustraliaThe flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shiftsExperienced - 2 years' experience as a chef; supervisory experience is beneficialWhat you can expect from us:We give our people everything they need to succeed.
