Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2) – Child and Family Health (Temp FT/PT)
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to deliver complex specialist nursing care and lead development of clinical practice in health screening, assessment, and advisory services for families with children aged 0 to 5 years who have experienced substance use, disability or other vulnerabilities. The role is part of the Equity Team within NSW Health – South Western Sydney Local Health District.

About the Opportunity
The Equity Model aims to pilot a continuity of care stacked-interventions service model to reduce inequities and improve health and development outcomes for families from priority population groups.
What You'll be Doing
* Provide advanced practice clinical care for children and families with complex needs.
* Lead service delivery and promote quality improvement initiatives.
* Support infant feeding, developmental assessment and facilitation of groups.
* Develop and implement specialist clinical practice and clinical care plans.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and inter-agency partners.
Qualifications & Experience
* Current nursing registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and relevant postgraduate qualifications in Child and Family Health.
* At least 3 years of recent clinical experience working with children and families, or equivalent qualifications.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical care and service delivery issues.
* Proven ability to exercise extended autonomy of decision-making within a multi-disciplinary team.
* Australian C-class driver's licence (P1 or P2). NSW licence requirement within three months for non-NSW holders.
