Electrical Design Manager
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead electrical design across major renewable energy projects in Queensland. These projects are part of a ~1.8GW solar and battery portfolio, delivering large-scale renewable generation and energy storage to support Queensland's energy transition.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead electrical design delivery across large‐scale solar and BESS projects.
* Manage design consultants and ensure integration with construction teams.
* Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, safety and regulatory requirements.
* Drive value engineering, cost optimisation and design performance outcomes.
* Oversee programme delivery, reporting and stakeholder coordination.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 12+ years' experience with 3–5 years leading engineering teams.
* Proven experience in solar or renewable energy project delivery.
* Strong understanding of full lifecycle design management in infrastructure.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership and communication skills.
