Speech Therapist Opportunity in Rural Health
Hunter New England Local Health District seeks a skilled Speech Therapist to join its multidisciplinary community health team.
This generalist role involves delivering meaningful services across diverse settings, working with a team of five speech therapists to provide outreach services and assessment interventions for adults and children with swallowing and communication disorders.
As a leader in the team, you will mentor and supervise colleagues, contributing to innovative quality improvement projects. Regular clinical supervision and professional support ensure your success in this role.
The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, initiative, and a client-centered approach, with a commitment to achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.
Key requirements include a degree in speech therapy and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, as well as the ability to drive in NSW.
* Deliver outreach services and assessment interventions for adults and children with swallowing and communication disorders.

Additional information:
* Based on a minimum 18-month commitment to the position or the agreed duration of your contract.
