Your opportunity
Here’s your chance to make a real impact in Western Australia. As Project Officer (on a 2 year fixed term - 4 days per week contract), you’ll work hands-on with dairy farmers to improve effluent and nutrient management, helping them adopt best-practice solutions that boost sustainability and efficiency.
You’ll contribute to projects that matter, share insights that drive change, and build robust relationships across the industry—all while being supported by a collaborative team that values innovation and purpose.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver tailored farmer support through one-on-one advice, workshops, and field days.
- Conduct effluent system reviews and support nutrient management planning.
- Assist with on-farm trials and share results that showcase best practice.
- Build strong networks with farmers, processors, and regional stakeholders.
- Create engaging content to highlight success stories and project outcomes.
About you
You’re passionate about agriculture and sustainability, with:
- Technical expertise in effluent/nutrient management or environmental management.
- Experience in project delivery, facilitation, and communication.
- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.
- A practical understanding of farming systems and dairy production.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (highly regarded).
