This is a fantastic opportunity to join a large NSW government organisation on a 6 month contract based in Singleton or working from home.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior management and the team, including coordination of meetings, diary maintenance, provision of a reception service, arrangement of training and travel, procurement of stationery and deliveries, and arrangement of the maintenance of office machines.
Main Responsibilities:
* Providing word processing services using appropriate software packages to prepare documents, such as memoranda, correspondence, reports and procedure manuals.
* Maintaining and distributing files and documents, in accordance with records management procedures.
* Raising purchase order requests for goods and services, processing invoices for payment, in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
* Supporting the collation and production of key management reports.
* Distributing circulars and all correspondence, including incoming mail and faxes, to keep managers and staff informed.
About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience in providing high quality administrative support.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
* Experience in using Microsoft software packages, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
