Store Person Job Description
We are currently offering a dynamic opportunity for full-time permanent Storeman & truck Driver to join our team and support our customers across the region.
A typical day may look like:
* Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring that goods receivable, deliveries and inventories are managed and distributed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
* All client's needs must be met through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
Tasks are varied and may also include:
* On-farm deliveries
* Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders
* Basic maintenance for delivery vehicles
* Forklift operation
* Customer service
* Inventory control, goods receipt, dispatch and associated paperwork
* Maintaining safety processes
This role will include a rotating Saturday roster (approx. 4 x Sat mornings every 3 months).
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment and have a passion for farming and agriculture.
You will demonstrate:
* A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Effective verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationships
* Full drivers' licence
* Forklift ticket and HR licence are required as well as experience with a Hiab crane or similar is advantageous
