Accounts Payable Officer Kip Happy Stays Head Office (Remote)

We're now on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Officer. This role forms part of the head office team and provides support to the Finance team. The position is full-time, expecting a remuneration package commensurate with experience. Flexible working arrangements, including working remotely
Responsibilities & Duties
* Establish and maintain supplier accounts
* Enter bills in accounting software
* Enter, prepare and coordinate weekly payment runs in accordance with company procedures.
* Ensure expenditure is compliance with company policies
* Data entry
* Process journals
* Process ad hoc transactions
* Assist month end processing and reports
* Communicate with external agencies to resolve accounts
* Communicate with all team members of the business
* Perform general administrative tasks
* Other tasks and analysis as required
About You
The successful candidate will bring prior experience as an Accounts Payable Officer, with the ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Our ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience in accounts payable with end-to-end processing knowledge.
* Familiarity with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
* Competence in Excel and reporting skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritise tasks, and problem-solve effectively.
* Professionalism, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
* Adaptability and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
