Financial Administrator
About the Role:
The Financial Administrator is a key position that provides financial support to operations across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This role will work closely with budget holders to assist with budgets and forecasts, produce accurate financial reports, and provide guidance on financial systems.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our organization.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide financial services to support operations across SA and NT Rural and Remote Health.
* Work with budget holders to prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
* Produce accurate financial reports and provide commentary as needed.
* Support administrative staff in the use of financial systems and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Key Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and manage priorities under minimal supervision.
* Relevant tertiary qualification or advanced diploma with substantial experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training.
* Proven experience in preparing accurate and timely financial reports, including analysis and explanatory commentary.
* Strong attention to detail with proficiency in record keeping, data entry, and spreadsheet management.
* Familiarity with contemporary finance and administrative systems, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant policies and procedures.
* 2-4 years of experience in a finance-related role.
