**Job Description**
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Metallurgical team as a Product Control Officer.
The role involves managing the preparation and dispatch of copper cathode from the Copper Refinery. Key responsibilities include:
* Loading customer orders to production database
* Planning and coordinating the transport of copper cathode
* Weekly and monthly stock count and associated data entry
* Daily cathode and anode production and receipt data entry
* Daily and monthly reporting
* Weighting and strapping of cathode bundles
* Identification of non-conforming bundles for inspection
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
Minimum of 2 years' experience in logistics, dispatch or warehousing roles
A current forklift competency
A high attention to detail
Demonstrated intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills including error tracking and formulae
An ability to adapt to rapidly changing customer needs
Proactive approach to safety, sound communication and interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities
Self-starting attitude and willingness to accept individual responsibility within a small work team
Physical capability to work outdoors for 60% of the work day
Residentially based in Townsville with Monday to Friday working hours
Flexibility required in terms of work times and rosters
