About you We are looking for a passionate career Legal Assistant who is eager to bring their experience and strong organisational skills to this role.
You will ideally have at least 2-3 years relevant experience from a law firm together with the motivation to take ownership of your next role and build long-term relationships with your key operators.A strong work ethic and attention to detail, the ability to manage conflicting priorities and keep on top of deadlines are some of the key qualities we are looking for, in addition to sound Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
Although you may not have prior experience within a corporate practice, you will have excellent experience in other well-regarded practices with a strong desire to learn new skills.
Your role We are seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Assistant to join our Corporate practice group in a permanent, full-time position.
This role is an integral part of this fun, growing, fast-paced and supportive team, and there will be other legal assistants to lean on for extra support both on the ground and across our other offices.
Working with leading Partners in their field, this role will primarily focus on providing support for three Partners.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Diary management Preparation of documents and correspondence File maintenance – opening, closing and archiving files (electronic and physical filing) Administrative support to multiple authors Attending to telephone calls and enquiries (incoming and outgoing) Monthly billing This role requires excellent professional written and oral communication skills and the successful candidate must have confidence in dealing with people across the legal profession in an engaging and friendly manner.
