Purpose:
To undertake a range of rural land services and activities in accordance with the Stock Route Management Act 2002, Nature Conservation Act 1992, Environmental Protection Act 1994, Biosecurity Act 2014 and Council's Biosecurity and Stock Route Management Plans that contribute to the protection of the Maranoa region's rural industry including:
- Management of stock routes
- Monitor and control of weeds
- Wild dog and feral animal control, in partnership with the State Government and landowners
- Delivery of Department of Resources annual capital works projects and major stock route water facility maintenance in conjunction with other Rural Land Services Officers

Position Details and Benefits:
- Position based in Roma, Qld
- Permanent, Full-Time Position - 38hours per week
- Maranoa Regional Council Certified Agreement 2023 - Stream B - Level 9
- Maranoa Locality Allowance - $72.00 per fortnight
