Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to advise on accounting treatments for proposed transactions and develop the Group's accounting policies in specific subject matter expert areas.
This is a 6-9 month contract role that will see you working closely with stakeholders to understand and implement accounting standard changes.
Key Accountabilities:
* Advise on accounting treatments for proposed transactions, focusing on specific subject matter expert areas.
* Develop and maintain the Group's accounting policies and frameworks in specific subject matter expert areas.
* Support the Group in understanding and implementing accounting standard changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
* A tertiary degree in business or commerce and relevant accounting certification (CA/CPA).
* Extensive experience within a technical accounting role.
* Experience in interpreting and advising on impacts of changes in standards to the business.
* Strong stakeholder engagement experience.
