Coordinator, Product and Delivery


At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training.

* Ongoing Full-Time
* Location: Wollongong with flexible working arrangements available (6 days a week from home per fortnight and 4 days in office per fortnight (flexibility can be discussed at interview)
* Salary Clerk Grade 7/8: from $113,574 to $125,720 base + superannuation

About the role

* IT position working with systems, applications, data gathered to meet business requirement and strategic program objectives.
* Communicating and fostering relationships stakeholders
* Providing accurate advice, technical solutions, resolving issues
* Maintain the system, related documents and website by regularly updating and uploading content, ensuring usability and user-friendliness through testing and engaging with the stakeholders who use the system, and confirm that the material is current, relevant and exceeds user expectations.


Assisted School Travel Program

The Assisted School Travel Program (ASTP) plays a significant role in meeting the needs of eligible students with disability by providing free specialised transport to and from school where parents and carers are unable to provide or arrange transport for the student either fully or in part. The program provides around 3,000 individual transport services through contracted service providers, free of charge to approximately 13,000 students across NSW in both government and non-government schools.

Key knowledge

* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

* Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
