About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fuels Truck Driver to join our busy and hardworking re-fuelling division in our Eastern Creek Branch.
* Early morning starts and weekend work is a requirement for the position.
* The role is full time. Early morning start approximately 2-5am start.
* Shift hours and duration may vary.
Duties
* Fuel Truck Driving
* Onsite equipment refuelling as required
* Onsite Fuel Delivery
* Loading/Unloading, refuelling of equipment and asset recording of customers equipment in the Sydney Region
* Basic Yardperson duties as required/directed
* Other appropriate duties as required/directed
Skills and Experience
You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an "I will make it happen" attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* Minimum MR truck licence required, with at least 2 years professional driving experience
* White card is essential
* DG & SLP is essential
* Asbestos card is not essential but would be well regarded
* Excellent driving record and safety focused - A copy of your current driving record will be required to be produced at your interview.
* Focused on providing the best service to our customers
* Can work independently, plus listen and follow instructions
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised
* Self-motivated and takes pride in their work
* Has a strong team mind-set
* Has good English reading and writing skills
* Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics
* Has a stable work history and checkable work references.
* Has a valid and current drivers licence
* Previous experience delivering fuel would be highly regarded
* Forklift licence would be highly regarded
Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
