What you'll do
* Roll up your sleeves to carry out general maintenance, repairs, and upkeep across our site — from carpentry, painting, and plumbing to concreting, welding, and general building works.
* Keep our facilities running smoothly by performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
* Respond quickly to maintenance requests and help deliver safe, functional, and great-looking spaces for events and race days.
* Work alongside contractors and suppliers, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
* Assist with event and race day setups, ensuring infrastructure is ready to go for every crowd and competition.
* Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and with care, keeping everything in top working order.
* Support the presentation of our buildings, amenities, and public spaces - making sure Morphettville always looks its best.
What We're Looking For
* A solid trade background (carpenter, plumber, builder, or similar) or proven experience in a maintenance or handyperson role.
* A current White Card, driver's licence and forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
* A strong work ethic and the physical capacity for hands-on, high-energy work.
* Team spirit and the ability to work independently when needed.
* Great communication skills and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
* A good understanding of safety practices and the willingness to follow WHS procedures.
* Flexibility to pitch in on weekends, race days, and public holidays because that's when the action happens.
Why Join Morphettville?
* Be part of something bigger – where your work directly contributes to unforgettable race days and major events.
* Work in a modern, purpose-built facility with a supportive and passionate crew.
* A workplace that celebrates diversity, inclusion, and genuine teamwork.
