About the Role
You'll be responsible for providing comfort to our clients by assisting with the requirements and activities of daily living as set out in their individual care plans. This may include:
* Supporting clients with complex and/or challenging needs
* Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress
* Social Activities: transporting clients to their appointments, shopping, any planned social activity.
Essential Criteria
* Right to Work in Australia such as passport, visa, birth certificate
* First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before employment
* NDISWC
* Working with Children Check
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with clients who display challenging and complex behaviours
* Experience providing complex personal care
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disabilities or similar is desirable (willingness and the ability to obtain is essential)
* Previous healthcare or community welfare experience is an advantage along with a genuine desire to support people to live a higher quality of life will be highly regarded.
