Offer description

Overview
Venues NSW is a commercially focused agency of the NSW Government, encompassing the Sydney Cricket Ground and Allianz Stadium as well as major sporting and cultural stadiums and precincts in Sydney, Olympic Park, Parramatta, Newcastle and Wollongong. The network of stadiums and entertainment centres hosts in excess of 5 million people a year at more than 500 events and is a key contributor to the economy. Venues NSW takes an integrated approach to stadia and entertainment centres by developing partnerships with sporting codes, the entertainment and event industry, audiences, local businesses, NSW Government agencies and community groups. Our network throughout NSW allows us to combine internal resources and harness a vast employee skillset to deliver key projects and secure outstanding content.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role supports the administrative and operational functions of the Event Acquisition team at Venues NSW. You will be responsible for managing the scheduling of all event content across the Moore Park Precinct, Accor Stadium, CommBank Stadium, Penrith Stadium, McDonald Jones Stadium, and WIN Stadium. As a key point of contact for sporting partners, you will coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure schedules are up to date and align with Venue Hire Agreements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include maintaining the network-wide master event schedule, inputting data into centralised booking systems (Venue Ops), and overseeing the Term Sheet Register and Venue Hire Agreement process. You will also prepare venue hire information packs for potential events, assist in the development of commercial proposals, and contribute to internal reporting such as post-event commercial reviews. This role requires a strong sense of ownership, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across a diverse stakeholder network.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in administration or scheduling, ideally within the events or venues sector. You're confident working with booking systems, managing competing priorities, and communicating effectively with both internal teams and external partners. You work well under pressure, are a strong team player, and take initiative to support the success of the wider team.
