Lead an innovative early parenting service where working in partnership and providing intensive support shapes lifelong outcomes for children and families.
Karitane is a trusted leader in early parenting and family support, delivering evidence-based care to families across NSW. You will manage a 14-bed inpatient Residential Unit located on the grounds of Campbelltown Hospital, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Manager (Grade 2) to lead a well-resourced, multidisciplinary team in a stable and growing service.
About the Service
The Karitane Early Parenting Service at Campbelltown is a tertiary child and family health service supporting families with infants and young children experiencing common early parenting challenges, including infant sleep and settling, feeding concerns, crying and distress, parent–infant attachment, and parental wellbeing.

• Approximately 36 staff including Child & Family Health nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Social Workers and a Playroom Coordinator.

• Jade House Outreach Clinic ( Perinatal Mental Health) & Toddler Outreach Clinic ( Child Behaviour Clinic)
• Dedicated Virtual Residential Parenting Service (VRPS) team managed by a NUM

About the Role
The Nurse Manager provides clinical and operational leadership, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based, family-centred care. Responsibilities include staff leadership, service planning, clinical governance, quality and safety, resource management and stakeholder engagement.
About You
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in health services management or child and family health
• Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, quality improvement and culturally responsive care
