The Superintendent Business Services plays a key role to ensure business continuity, operational effectiveness and continuous improvement across site services.
The role is directly accountable for the delivery and performance of Facilities Management, Non-Process Infrastructure Maintenance and Warehousing.
The primary focus of the position is contractor management, providing leadership, governance and oversight to ensure safe, compliant and efficient execution of services.
The role also provides strategic direction and support to Business Improvement, change management and administrative functions, driving consistency, performance improvement and sustainable outcomes.

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.
Mardie will be the largest salt operation in Australia and the third largest globally.
With first salt on ship on track to be achieved late next year, BCI Minerals is just at the beginning of its journey to become a key player in a multitude of globally significant sustainable opportunities.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent Business Services to join our site Leadership Team.
In this key role, you will act as a trusted leader, providing strategic input and hands-on operational support across facilities management, non-processing infrastructure maintenance and warehousing.
You will play a critical role in shaping business services capability while supporting safe, efficient and compliant site operations.
You will lead and govern our contractor base, ensuring services are delivered to the highest safety, quality and performance standards.
You will oversee budget development, forecasting and cost control, while ensuring compliance with financial policies, legislation and company standards.
A core part of the role is identifying capability gaps, championing continuous improvement initiatives and proactively managing risks that may impact delivery of the Operational Plan.
This role has accountability for the performance and maintenance of all site facilities, accommodation villages and non-processing infrastructure.
You will ensure facilities and utilities meet operational requirements, workforce expectations and legislative obligations, supported by robust asset management, preventative maintenance strategies and accurate documentation.
You will also provide independent insights into asset performance and drive best-practice, fit-for-purpose outcomes.
In addition, you will oversee warehousing and procurement activities, optimising supply chain efficiency and inventory control while working closely with Contract Procurement and Business Partners.
Strong reporting and risk management capability is essential, with responsibility for performance reporting, risk registers, critical controls and participation in formal risk assessments.

About You
The successful candidate will have:
Proven leadership experience including the ability to mentor, support and develop team members ensuring productivity, engagement and efficiency.
Experience in effective contractor and stakeholder management.
Excellent engagement, team management and influencing skills.
Demonstrable commercial acumen and business improvement - seeing the opportunities and acting on them.
Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that is not older than 3 months and must hold a WA White Card.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australiato be eligible for consideration.
