Infrastructure Engineer - Central Highlands Region
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in the Central Highlands Region.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated engineer with experience in water network infrastructure to play a key role in providing technical advice and support across our region. You will be responsible for planning, managing and maintaining our water supply and wastewater networks, as well as identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions to upgrade our infrastructure.
You will work closely with our operations teams to ensure the efficient management of planned and responsive maintenance activities, develop and implement planned maintenance and renewal programs, and provide technical advice and support for new connections and compliance issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical support for the coordination of planned and responsive maintenance work to the water and sewerage trunk and reticulation networks
* Develop and implement planned maintenance, renewals and capital programs, and continuous improvement of operations/processes
* Assist with updating the asset management system and ensuring accurate data collection and integration for future planning and asset valuation
* Develop maintenance schedules and assist with financial operational budgets
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Demonstrated experience in a similar role, including sound knowledge of water and wastewater network management
* Extensive working experience within the water and wastewater industry
* Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent in a technical field
* Excellent understanding of National Standard requirements
* An understanding of asset management integration with planned and responsive maintenance activities
* Ability to accurately collect, analyze and report on large volumes of data
