About the Role: We are seeking experienced an Occupational Therapist for locum community role in Rockhampton, QLD. Engagements of 3-6 months are preferred, however ongoing locum arrangements will also be considered for the right candidate. You will deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across community and MSK caseloads, working with adult and mixed caseload clients predominantly NDIS participants. Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of clients ensuring timely and effective occupational therapy services Complete OT-specific assessments including home safety management for NDIS and aged care clients Conduct functional assessments to help NDIS participants maximise capacity and social engagement Prescribe equipment and provide tailored recommendations to support client needs Deliver ongoing therapy and wellness solutions for NDIS and other scheme participants Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care Benefits: $60 per hour plus superannuation Accommodation and Travel provided 3-6 month engagements preferred ongoing locum arrangements also considered Community and MSK caseloads Predominantly NDIS adult and mixed caseload Regional placements available across Australia About You: Bachelor's degree or Master's in Occupational Therapy Current AHPRA registration Membership with relevant professional body Experience in community, NDIS and/or MSK settings Goal-oriented, professional and client-focused Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and trust Eligible to work in Australia About us: MediRecruit provides a specialist healthcare recruitment and career advisory service for Allied Health professionals in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
