Job Summary:
As a Student Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and success of our students. You will be responsible for providing guidance, counseling, and support to students, addressing their academic, personal, and emotional needs. Your compassionate and proactive approach will contribute to creating a positive and supportive campus community.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students to address academic challenges, study skills, time management, and goal setting.
* Offer emotional support and guidance to students experiencing personal difficulties, referring them to appropriate resources when necessary.
* Assist in the development and implementation of student orientation programs to facilitate a smooth transition for new students.
* Collaborate with trainer and staff to identify students in need of additional support and create tailored intervention plans.
* Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and support services provided.
Requirements:
* Experience in wisenet is preferable.
* Proven Student Support and Administration experience within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.
* Effective planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities within timelines.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* Proficiency in using computer software and data management systems.
