Press Brake Operator Job Responsibilities Include Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, or punch metals.
Bend products or assemblies.
Setup up metal dies in performing operations in forming Requires aligning, fitting and rework pieces that fail inspection.
Select and install tooling, make machine adjustments.
Inspect finished parts using calipers and micrometers.
Press Brake Operator Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED.
Experience operating a press brake and has used calipers and micrometers.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Lift up to 70 pounds with or without assistance, bend, twist and reach.
Ability to grip, twist wrist and tighten hands.
Standing 6 hours a day.
