Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead a team of senior plant and equipment valuers and asset disposition specialists. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a dynamic Commercial & Industrial team, working on large-scale assignments across diverse industries.
As a Senior Asset Sales & Valuations Specialist, you will manage and execute commercial plant and equipment asset trading deals, disposition projects, and valuations, primarily within the mining, construction, transport, and manufacturing sectors.
* Project Management: Oversee end-to-end execution of asset trading and disposition projects, including compliance, marketing, operations, asset sales, financial management, and vendor & JV partner management.
* Valuations & Asset Inspections: Ensure successful completion of valuation projects, including on-site asset inspections and audits, valuation analysis, market research, report delivery, and client management.
* Performance & Risk Management: Manage workflow to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensure deals comply with approved Pro Forma and risk management standards, and maintain accurate regulatory and compliance records.
* Business Development & Client Engagement: Build and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective clients, attend business and networking events to drive growth opportunities, and utilize CRM tools to track activities and maintain accurate client records.
* Leadership & Professional Conduct: Foster collaboration across internal teams and global networks, demonstrate integrity, ethical behaviour, and a commitment to excellence, and effectively manage time, resources, and professional development.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
* 6+ years of experience in plant & machinery operations, asset management, or asset sales – preferably in mining, transport, or manufacturing.
* Proven experience in managing asset disposition projects.
* Experience in a fast-paced, complex, deal-driven environment.
* Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
