In your role as Rostering Officer, the primary focus of the role is the use of client management software in the rostering of staff, along with general administration of the site.
You will also assist in the coordination of client services and the running of the day to day operations of the office. From time to time you are also expected to be able to assist other staff as the facilities may require.
This role is crucial to the proper functioning of the provision of care to the clients of Supported Care and you are always expected to undertake your work in a respectful and cordial manner.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Coordinate the rostering of staff at the specified site to match service needs;
- Be familiar with and able to operate all computer and record systems;
- Accurate and timely maintenance of records, timesheets and communications systems;
- Work with the Regional Service Manager to ensure that rosters are efficient and within budget;
- Accurate and timely provisions of reports to management;
- General front office duties including but not limited to answering of phones, record keeping;
- Interact respectfully, comfortably and confidently with the clients and to gain understanding of individuals' need and peculiarities to effectively navigate and manage their administration and routines to achieve the best practical outcome for both the Company and the client.
- Extensive rostering experience within disability services (or similar)
- Experience with rostering or client management software
- An understanding of the NDIS
- Work well as part as a team as well as be highly functioning to work independently;
- Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (written and oral);
- A polite and friendly manner;
- Proficient time management skills;
- Possess a current NDIS Workers Screening Check / Yellow Card - or the ability to acquire.
- COVID-19 vaccinated OR Medical exemption required as per QLD Public Health Order

Part-time hours: 25 per week
**Salary**: $29.12 - $30.03 per hour
