Role Overview
My client is no ordinary life science manufacturer.
They just so happen to be in the right place at the right time, by no coincidence.
Processing, manufacturing and providing services and material for an increasing realm within the regenerative medicine world, this company is poised to double in size.
They have a long existing track record and now have a strong purpose in providing materials for cell research - globally.
As such the CEO requires an exceptional leader to enhance the 3 senior departmental managers whilst also ready for a new greenfield site to also be built.
This senior leadership role drives strategic growth, operational excellence, and global impact from a regional base.
The key will be to have demonstrated previous residing in a rural part of Australia or NZ before (must have to be considered).
Also a genuine proven track record of developing leaders within a manufacturing setting.
Breaking barriers and enhancing standards in an intricate, complex and sensitive industry.
Higher purpose to serve a growing area of medical tech research / health outcomes for patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Bioprocessing.
* Embed performance culture with KPIs and continuous improvement
* Ensure compliance with WHS, ISO (9001 & 13485), and QMS standards
* Champion LEAN, Six Sigma, and digital integration
* Prepare operations for expansion, automation, and ERP optimisation
* Mentor teams and lead succession planning

Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field
* Extensive years in senior operational leadership within Australia (preferably biotech or industrial)
* Certified in LEAN, Six Sigma, and WHS
* Proven success in safety, quality, cost, and service delivery
* Strong project management (Agile familiarity)
* Commercial acumen and financial oversight
* Experience in digital transformation and ERP systems
