Key Responsibilities
The Clinical Nurse Consultant will be responsible for delivering a culturally safe and clinically effective service to improve prevention, diagnosis, early detection, treatment, and management of rheumatic heart disease. They will work closely with stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and contribute to reducing inequalities in health status and life expectancy for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a Bachelor of Nursing qualification and experience working in a clinical environment. Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will also have a working knowledge of software packages used in the clinical and management environment, including Microsoft Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint.
