Achievement Support Services is a NDIS provider, delivering high-quality, consistent supports to participants across Launceston and surrounding areas.
Our participants rely on ongoing, recurring services (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly). Consistency, reliability and professionalism are extremely important.
We manage all bookings, scheduling systems, and client communication — you attend site and complete the agreed scope of work and ensure notes are taken on each job via our scheduling app.
Important – Subcontractor Role
This is a subcontractor position, not employment.
Applicants must operate under their own ABN and hold their own insurances.
You are responsible for your own tax, superannuation, and business compliance obligations.
The Role
Provide ongoing gardening and yard maintenance services to NDIS participants in their homes.
Work may include:
* Lawn mowing
* Whipper snipping / edging
* Hedge trimming
* Weeding
* Pruning
* Green waste removal
* General yard clean-ups
* Minor outdoor maintenance
This is ongoing rostered work, not one-off jobs.
Travel Requirement
Our participants are located in Launceston and surrounding regional areas.
Applicants must be:
* Willing to travel to surrounding suburbs and regional locations as required
* Able to manage travel between rostered jobs
Travel rates are paid where applicable for services outside metropolitan areas in line with agreed contractor terms.
Mandatory Requirements
You must have:
* ABN
* Current Public Liability Insurance (in your own business name)
* Your own reliable vehicle
* Valid Driver's Licence
* Your own gardening equipment (mower, whipper snipper, hedge trimmer, etc.)
* Current Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Card – TAS
* Current National Police Check
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to complete)
Professional & Safety Standards
As you will be attending participant homes under our NDIS registration, you must:
* Wear appropriate work-safe footwear (steel cap boots or protective work boots)
* Use appropriate PPE
* Maintain a neat, clean and professional appearance
* Conduct yourself respectfully in participant homes
* Understand that while subcontracted, you are representing Achievement Support Services onsite
* Follow all WHS and safety protocols

Pay
Starting from $40+ per hour (ABN contractor rate)
Rate dependent on experience and scope.
Travel paid where applicable.
