**Job Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, create job descriptions, and establish recruitment strategies.
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including leave policies etc.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate HR records, including personnel files and employee data
- Implement and manage HRIS systems
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR, and implement appropriate changes as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in the civil construction industry, with a solid understanding of construction-specific HR challenges.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.
