Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our team in North Ryde. This is an individual contributor position, reporting directly to the APAC & Japan People Partner Lead based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring outcomes align with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
* Advise Country Leaders on employee issues during times of crisis or transformation and execute Crisis Management Team decisions related to people matters within the country.
* Deliver expert advice on transformations from a local and legal perspective, responsible for the execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, and reorganizations affecting local teams.
* Act as a subject matter expert in labor law application and compliance, advising on hosted headcount and cross-border employment issues.
* Offer professional guidance on performance improvement plans, ensuring adherence to policies and best practices.
* Handle disciplinary and grievance cases, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
* Conduct investigations related to General Business Principles.
* Address rewards-related questions, ensuring alignment with local guidelines and internal equity.
* Ensure consistent application of HR policies and practices across the organization, monitoring adherence to local labor laws and escalating potential risks to stakeholders.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's / master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* At least 8 years of experience in HR processes, employee relations, and labor relations preferably in a multinational environment.
* Strong understanding of HR practices, including employment law and regulation, supporting payroll, administrative tasks, reporting, and audit processes.
* Experience in directly supporting people managers.
* Solutions-focused approach, well-developed business acumen, and ability to deal with change proactively.
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and adaptability to changing circumstances.
