About The Role
Leadership: The Practice Lead for this role is Christopher Scolt. Based in Perth, Chris leads the Business Applications team in our Western Region and is passionate about fostering team spirit and enabling team members to reach their potential through learning and development. The Business Applications team is focused on providing services and delivering solutions based on Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365.
As a Senior Architect, Dynamics 365 CRM & Power Platform with Insight, you will own and drive challenging projects and work with customers to understand functional and business requirements and design appropriate solutions. We will count on you to be an SME for strategic client opportunities and provide leadership and technical support to your teammates.
As a hands-on Senior Architect, you will:
Assist with developing new solution offerings, including training plans and sales enablement
Research and evaluate client systems and architecture; draw conclusions; and develop recommendations in accordance with engagement objectives
Discuss project scope and budget with the customer and direct project scope to be implemented on time and within budget without sacrificing quality
Act as a team lead on large engagements, taking ownership of the project outcome and quality
Identify and resolve project issues with clients
Write proposal components or letters of understanding, as needed, and respond to RFPs and other marketing situations
Work with internal personnel to define service opportunities, and develop standards of delivery, templates, and standard work products to meet expectations
Lead identification of business and technical requirements
Implement technologies and solutions based on designs
Plan own and team’s work to meet objectives and processes
Demonstrate analytical and systematic problem-solving approaches and mentor team members to follow this approach

Capabilities we seek in a Senior Architect:
Consultative:
Experience architecting, designing, and implementing advanced technical solutions
Work with customers to understand requirements and make technology recommendations
Ability to cultivate relationships with partners and suppliers to understand technology roadmaps
Excellent communication skills to articulate technical and abstract concepts
Strong conceptual and analytical skills with sound judgment
Ability to develop technical requirements based on business needs
Ability to produce architectural diagrams, roadmaps, and technical documentation
Understanding of project budgets, financials, and commercials
Ability to manage and mentor team members
Effective interface with client executives
Deliver strategic consultancy services like assessments, roadmaps, and platform evaluations
Develop and maintain customer relationships and represent Insight at events
Previous consulting/professional services experience is required
Technical:
Expertise in at least 2 Dynamics 365 First Party Applications
Hands-on experience with Power Automate and Canvas Apps
Knowledge of Power BI, Power Pages, and AI Builder
Experience with CRM configuration, customization, integration, and data migration
Experience in Dynamics CRM functional consulting
Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management best practices
Experience with Power Platform Centre of Excellence Toolkit
