We are looking for a
Data Project Manager
to lead high‑impact data initiatives, drive cross-functional collaboration, and ensure successful delivery of data-driven projects. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong project management capabilities with a solid understanding of data systems, analytics, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of data-focused projects.
* Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and detailed project plans.
* Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
* Oversee data collection, integration, analytics workflows, and system enhancements.
* Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to leadership and stakeholders.
* Identify capability gaps within teams and facilitate training when needed.
* Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and quality benchmarks.
* Prepare all project documentation including charters, plans, reports, and change logs.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Data Science, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience managing technical/data projects.
* Certifications like PMP, PMI‑ACP, SCRUM, or similar are a plus.
* Experience with big data, BI tools, or analytics platforms preferred.
Desired Skills
* Strong understanding of data systems, BI, and analytics workflows.
* Proficiency in Excel, MS Access, or analytics tools (e.g., SAS, SPSS).
* Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
