Working within a collaborative and specialised environment, you will contribute to the coordination of procurement, financial transactions, and stakeholder engagement across multiple sites.This opportunity is well suited to an organised and proactive administrator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, thrives on managing competing priorities, and takes pride in delivering accurate, timely and professional support.You will have the chance to build strong relationships across the University and with external partners, while contributing to a service that enables impactful research outcomes.**Key responsibilities will include:*** Lead procurement and purchasing activities for Animal Facilities and UQBR, including raising requisitions in UniFi, coordinating UQeMarket orders, and managing corporate credit card transactions.* Maintain accurate financial and purchasing records, including order tracking, standing purchase orders, and reconciliation of corporate and virtual credit card transactions.* Coordinate supplier and stakeholder engagement, managing quotations, orders, deliveries, invoicing, site access, and responding to routine enquiries.* Prepare and process internal and external billing documentation, including animal purchases and agistment charges, and submit financial documentation to Finance.* Support financial governance and provide high‐level administrative support, including month‐end activities (COJs, chart string validation), travel coordination, and general administrative assistance to UQBR staff and leadership.# **About You*** Strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‐paced environment.* Demonstrated experience in financial administration, including procurement, invoicing, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate records.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer‐focused approach and the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.* High level of proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, along with the capability to quickly learn new systems and processes.* A proactive, reliable and solutions‐focused mindset, supported by well‐developed problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.* Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience, ideally complemented by exposure to university or complex organisational administrative systems and processes.# **About UQ**As part of the UQ community, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world, working together to create a better world.
