About the role
This newly created role is accountable for setting and executing an integrated procurement and fleet operating model that delivers sustainable value, commercial assurance, and operational resilience. Embedding best practice category and contract management, as well as optimising current systems including data analytics for decision making.
About you

With in depth experience in category management practice, providing leadership and embedding innovations within your own team and organisation wide you'll be looking to further apply your leadership and change management experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.
This role will best suit you if you have a strong internal drive to succeed and a solution focused mindset that brings resilience and a solution focused mindset to deliver results. Importantly as we are a values‐based organisation your success will be coupled with the ability to genuinely engage others and coach your team's empowerment, culture and capability. Your key experience will include:
* Tertiary Degree in a relevant specialisation strongly desired
* Extensive successful experience in designing and embedding category management frameworks including managing categories across diverse service environments
* Demonstrated experience in establishing and governing end to end contract management frameworks
* Prior experience in services industry such as health or similar
* Successfully leading and developing a diverse team, coaching for performance and driving an engaged collaborative culture
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
* A love and passion of continuous improvements across practice, systems and process including change management
* Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent and competing priorities effectively, while maintaining best practice and client service standards
* Driver's Licence
* Satisfactory National Police Clearance (issued within the last six months)
