About the RoleReporting to the Principal and Business Manager, this hands-on leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day management and strategic oversight of the College’s operational services, including:Transport (school bus system and vehicles)Grounds and facilities maintenanceContractor engagement and coordinationWorkplace Health & Safety (WHS/OHS) systems and complianceYou will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence across the campus while fostering a strong culture of safety and teamwork.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage the College transport system, including bus operations and vehicle maintenancePlan routes and coordinate bus runs using \"RollCall\" bus softwareLead and supervise bus drivers, maintenance, and grounds staffCoordinate repairs, preventative maintenance, and long-term asset planningMaintain and enhance College grounds and gardensEngage and manage external contractors and service providersDevelop and manage maintenance schedules and budgets in consultation with leadershipCoordinate and oversee WHS/OHS systems, ensuring compliance with legislation and College policiesPromote a proactive safety culture, including hazard reporting and risk managementProvide operational support for College events and activitiesContribute positively to team culture and communication across the College About YouYou are a practical, proactive leader with a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and high standards.
