The role of IT Network Coordinator is a pivotal position that requires exceptional technical expertise and project management skills. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT network services.
Your Key Responsibilities
As an IT Network Coordinator, you will be responsible for working closely with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver network projects. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our IT network meets the operational needs of the business.
To achieve this, you will need to liaise with internal stakeholders to document requirements, scope, timeframes, and Bill of Materials for WAN, LAN, WI-FI and VOIP. You will also work under the direction of the IT Project Manager from formal project initiation through to delivery completion.
In addition, you will be responsible for working within established and documented IT network standards, collaborating with multiple network service providers and internal stakeholders. This will involve ordering and tracking new equipment and services.
If operational or project service quality issues arise, you will need to escalate them with the IT Manager or IT Project Manager. Furthermore, you will support a culture of safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the IT operations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will require a solid background in IT Networking. Formal qualifications in IT networking are highly regarded, as well as experience working in IT networking projects as a coordinator or non-technical facilitation role.
You should also possess the ability to drive regularly and travel occasionally throughout Southeast QLD. Additionally, experience and confidence in engaging with internal stakeholders and IT vendors are essential.
