Job Description
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including bank and stakeholder reporting.
* Assist with group consolidation and multi-entity reporting requirements.
* Maintain balance sheet integrity through detailed reconciliations.
* Prepare and review GST reconciliations and statutory submissions.
* Deliver management reporting, including actual vs budget and variance analysis.
* Manage project accounting for high‐value capital projects and track performance against budget.
* Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.
The Successful Applicant
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Big 4 or mid tier audit background strongly preferred.
* Industry experience ideal but not requisite (suited to a 2nd time mover).
* Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Australian accounting standards.
* Experience across infrastructure, construction/property highly regarded.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to partner and present to senior stakeholders.
